Lindy Benton-Muller Lindy Benton-Muller (Actor/Director)

Amphibian Credits include Miss Witherspoon (title role) and the ‘Phibs At The Modern reading of The Talented Mr. Ripley. In 2005, she directed the American premier of A Buyer’s Market for Amphibian and the production was voted “Top Ten in the Metroplex” by Mark Lowry of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Previously, she spent 14 years on the road as an actor and producer of the National Tour of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Regional theatre roles include: the Nurse in Romeo and Juliet, Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing, Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet and Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. Lindy is married to award winning actor Michael Muller –also an Amphibian Company Member -and is lucky enough to be step-mother to JoBette (21) and Michael (15). Lindy holds a Master of Arts Degree from Texas Woman’s University with an emphasis in Performance. She plays the trumpet, once waited tables on the television show Dallas and was struck by lightening at age 7.

Jill Browning Jill Browning (Production Stage Manager, Admin Asst)

Originally from New Orleans, LA, Jill is currently pursuing a BFA degree in Theatre (emphasis: Design)/ minor in Religion at TCU. Amphibian: Miss Witherspoon (Production Stage Manager), A Crazy Love of Things: The Odes of Pablo Neruda (Company Manager for Outreach Productions). TCU: Uncommon Women and Others (Costume Design), The Vagina Monologues (Production Stage Manager), Little Women (Head of Wardrobe), Lone Star/ Laundry and Bourbon (Stage Manager), Anything Goes (Asst. Costume Designer), Noises Off (Asst. Stage Manager), Getting Out (Lighting Crew/ Board OP), Cabaret (Costume Crew).

Almeria CampbellAlmeria Campbell (Actor)

Almeria Campbell earned her MFA from Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts and her BFA at Texas Christian University. You may have seen her recently in the national McDonald’s spot for the new chicken wrap alongside some of her fellow alums. Her television credits include: Law and Order Criminal Intent and you can catch her in the upcoming feature film comedy Baby Mama. She’s acted off Broadway in Blackout, a Cell Theatre production where she is also an active member. Amphibian acting credits include: Leonce and Lena. She has also done voice-overs, commercials and numerous productions as an MFA where she studied with William Esper. Currently she is managed under Vincent C. and is working her development muscles as writer/producer of her own original pilot under her newly formed production company. She is a singer and certified trainer in NYC.

Jaime CastañedaJaime Castañeda (Director)

Sarah ElizondoSarah Elizondo (Actor)

Sarah Elizondo, a native of San Antonio, Texas, began working with Amphibian Stage Productions her freshman year at Texas Christian University where she is currently pursuing her BFA in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting. Amphibian credits include Stage Directions for The Talented Mr. Ripley, Below the Belt, Fully Committed and Eye of God. Sarah was part of the first round of Amphibian's Internship Program during the 2006 Summer Mainstage Series where she operated sound for Below the Belt, worked costume crew for Icarus, and ran set crew for both productions. Acting credits at TCU include: (Helen Cohen) Ellis Island, Dream of America performed at Bass Hall, (Lina Szczepanowska) Misalliance, (There in the room) The Vagina Monologues, (Tiresias) Burial at Thebes, (Assistant Stage Manager) Bus Stop performed at Circle Theatre in Fort Worth, TX, and various student directed projects. She is also currently part of Actors' Equity Membership Candidate Program.

Richard ErcoleRichard Ercole (Actor)

Richard’s work with Amphibian includes Pale in Burn This and Jack in Eye of God. Richard has worked extensively with the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival in such productions as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Rivals, The Tempest, The Two Gentlemen of Verona and Macbeth. Other regional credits include Coyote on a Fence at the Berkshire Theater Festival, The Winter’s Tale at the Hamptons Shakespeare Festival, and Hamlet at the American Globe Theater. Richard was also in the 2000 national tour of The Sound of Music. Feature films include A Beautiful Mind, Pressure Point, and Sun in My Mouth. As an educator, Richard has taught at Western Connecticut State University, Rutgers University, NYU, and the Professional Performing Arts High School in New York City. Richard holds an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University.

Jennifer FalettoJennifer Faletto (Actor)

Jennifer Faletto is an original Amphibian Stage Productions company member. Jennifer played Anna in Burn This and woman/medea in Bash for the company. She has also participated in staged readings for Amphibian, reading Carmen in A Leopard Complains of Its Spots and Amelia in Credeaux Canvas. A resident of Chicago, Jennifer has worked with Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (Be Aggressive), Signal Theatre (Much Ado About Nothing), The Attic Playhouse (Communicating Doors), The Moving Dock (Savage/Love), Breadline Theatre (Destination Lost) and others. Film credits include: No Such Thing As, World of Weird and Monsterlieben. Jennifer also writes and performs sketch comedy in Donny’s Skybox at Second City. Jennifer has a BFA in theatre performance from TCU and is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory.

Mariana FernandezMariana Fernandez (Actor)

Mariana Fernandez is a native of Mexico and currently attends Purdue University’s MFA Actor Training Program. She worked with the Amphibian Outreach and Education program with A Crazy Love of Things: The Odes of Pablo Neruda and interned during their summer season in 2007 with Miss Witherspoon. Other credits: Jason and Claire for the California Young Playwright’s Project at The San Diego Old Globe, Sonnets for an Old Century with Firestarter Productions, and As Bees and Honey Drown at StageWest. Recent shows at Purdue include Trojan Women and Marat/Sade. She completed her BFA Performance major at Texas Christian University.

Drew HayesDrew Hayes (Actor)

Drew Hayes, a native of Milwaukee, WI, now resides in Las Vegas, NV. Amphibian Credits: A Buyer’s Market, Leonce and Lena and Bash, and the staged readings of Credeaux Canvas, Vincent in Brixton, The Talented Mr. Ripley, A Leopard Complains of its Spots, Europa's Child and Triptych. Drew also composed and directed A Crazy Love of Things: The Odes of Pablo Neruda for Amphibian’s outreach program. New York credits: Louis of Angels in America Parts I and II (Heights Players), Peter of The Good Samaritan (Triptych Theatre), and Mark of Mass Appeal (H.B. Studio Theater), among many other off-Broadway original works. TV/Film: Studio 13 and An Al Franken Special (Burly TV). Drew is a performance graduate of TCU, and has enjoyed studying under Anne Lynn Kettles and Margaret Loft (TCU), Ed Morehouse (H.B. Studio) and Lenard Petit (Michael Chekhov Acting Studio).

Lena Gwendolyn Hill Lena Gwendolyn Hill (Actor)

Lena Gwendolyn Hill is a Texas native who moved to Los Angeles after living in the Big Apple. Recent appearances include: A Very Old Man with Enormous Wings (Kirk Douglas Theatre - CTG), The Wild Party (The Blank Theatre Co. - Ovation Award Nominee - Best Musical), Atalanta (Powerhouse Theatre – Santa Monica), The Very Persistent Gappers of Frip (Kirk Douglas Theatre - CTG), and will appear in the feature length film South of Heaven this spring. Amphibian appearances include: 4 Edges and La Llorona (reading). Lena has been a member of Actors Equity Association since 1998.

J.P. MatthewsJ.P. Matthews (Actor)

John Patrick is originally from Kansas City and has been a member of Amphibian for 5 years. J.P. has appeared Off-Broadway in the Blue Man Group and regionally at The Dallas Theater Center, Casa Manana in Fort Worth, TX, New Jersey Shakespeare Festival (NSE), Missouri Repertory Theater, Starlight Amphitheater and The New Theater, both in Kansas City. J.P. received his MFA in Acting from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts and his BFA in Acting and Musical Theater from TCU. J.P. recently moved back to the states from England where he lived with his wife Erin. He continues to “take his turn” in supporting his wife through her Graduate studies while he currently works, acts, teaches and directs in Kansas City. Next fall, J.P. is excited to begin assisting his mentor Scott Miller, teaching voice and speech at the Graduate Acting program of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Resident Director of the National Tour of Cabaret (directors: Rob Marshall and Sam Mendes). Broadway and off-Broadway Assistant Director credits include: A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (revival), Little Me (starring Martin Short), You Never Can Tell (Roundabout Theater Company). JV has also worked on new play development for the New Harmony Theater Project. He has worked as a Casting Associate on numerous Broadway and off-Broadway shows for Roundabout Theatre Company. Frances Mercanti-AnthonyFrances Mercanti-Anthony (Actor)

Frances is originally from Haddonfield, New Jersey. She appeared most recently with Amphibian Stage Productions in Matt and Ben in the summer of 2005 in Fort Worth, TX. She also performed the role of Marge in the staged reading of The Talented Mr. Ripley both at the Fort Worth Museum of Modern Art and at Dodger Stages in New York City. She was seen (or rather, Not seen) as the Countess in The True History of Julia Pastrana... for Amphibian Stage Productions in the summer of 2003 both in Fort Worth and at the Greenwich Street Theatre in New York. Additionally Frances most recently appeared in the original Broadway company of the musical Spring Awakening directed by Michael Mayer, in the Off-Broadway production of Mr. Marmalade with the Roundabout Theatre Company, and as Betsy in the Ken Urban play I (Heart) Kant with the Committee Theatre. Frances is a proud member of Actor's Equity and lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Alex MilneAlix Milne (Props Mistress)

Alix has worked with Amphibian Stage Productions since its inception in 2000, serving as production designer for Gutenberg! The Musical!; assistant scenic designer for Icarus; props mistress for Three Days of Rain, Julia Pastrana, and
4 Edges; and as ensemble cast member in Leonce & Lena and Bash. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. She has been the production designer and set dresser on a number of music videos, independent films, and the feature film Necessary Evil.

Evan MuellerEvan Mueller (Actor/Playwright/Director)

Outside of Amphibian, Evan has worked as an actor, director, playwright, and producer with various theater companies, including: The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, The Hamptons Shakespeare Festival, The McCarter Theatre, The Warehouse Theatre, The Public Theatre of Maine, The Lightning Strikes Theater Company, Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre Programs, The Sweet William Collective, The New Phoenix Theater Company, and The Wendell Theater Group, of which Evan was a co-founder and artistic director. Michael MullerMichael Muller (Actor)

Michael Muller has 30 years of professional theatre experience as an actor, director and producer. Amphibian Credits include Below the Belt, A Buyer’s Market, and readings of Bach at Leipzig, and Eye of God. He earned a B.A. in English and Theatre (double major) from Washburn University and did graduate work at Ball State University. In addition to producing and directing 26 national tours, Mr. Muller was the Producing Director of Shakespeare in the Park, a position he held for 7 years. As an actor, he has worked locally with Amphibian Productions, Firestarter Productions, the Dallas Theatre Center, Shakespeare in the Park, Stage West, Circle Theatre, Jubilee Theater, Kids Who Care and Casa Mañana. In 2007 he was voted Best Actor in the Metroplex by the Fort Worth Weekly. Nationally, he has run the gamut, performing in theatres from Key West to the National Theatre of Ontario. Retiring from "life on the road" in 2000, he has just finished his 7th year as the Theatre Arts Director at Paschal High School.

Judy NormanJudy Norman (Dramaturg)

A resident of San Francisco, Judy is a graduate of the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. She has worked with Amphibian in various capacities, most recently as dramaturg for A Buyer’s Market. Throughout her life she has been actively involved with the arts, both performing and visual, including work with Theatre Workshop in Mexico City and the Pilgrim Theatre Company in Aspen, Colorado.

Shane TaylorShane Taylor (Actor)

A native of East Orange, NJ, Mr. Taylor earned his M.F.A at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University and has trained at the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) and Williamstown Theater Festival. Mr. Taylor has appeared in the Amphibian productions of This is How it Goes and Burn This. Most recently, Mr. Taylor has appeared in the critically acclaimed Round House Theater production of A Lesson Before Dying as Jefferson. Regional credits include: African Continuum Theater, Milwaukee Repertory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theater, Indiana Repertory Theater, Berkshire Theater Festival, Actor’s Theater of Louisville, Williamstown Theater Festival and the Lincoln Center Institute. Film Credits: King of the Bingo Game, God’s Forgotten House, and Sarbane’s Oxley. Mr. Taylor is the 2007 recipient of the Best International Actor Award from the Barbados International Film Festival for his performance in Sarbane’s Oxley.
